EuroMillions introduced the roll-down rule in 2016. This was the largest sum the lottery had reached so far, and it was won by a single ticket holder from the UK on 19th of July 2022. This win also happened to be the largest lottery win in UK history. A previously big EuroMillions win was on the 26th of February 2021. After six rollovers, a Swiss ticket holder managed to match all of the numbers and snag the gigantic €210 Million jackpot - a maximum cap that has never before been reached in its history.
