How do I win in the Irish Lotto?
Irish Lotto offers a total of eight prize tiers with different odds of winning, and the prizes start from matching just 2 main numbers and the bonus ball. To win the jackpot, you need to match all 6 main numbers. In Irish Lotto, a bonus number is also drawn from the remaining 41 numbers, after the 6 numbers are chosen from the total of 47. The prize amounts, including the jackpot, depend on the number of tickets sold. If more than one person wins the jackpot, the amount is split between the winners. What are minimum and maximum jackpot amounts in the Irish Lotto?
The minimum Irish Lotto jackpot amount is €2 million, whereas the maximum jackpot is €18.9 million.
What happens if the jackpot is not won?
If a jackpot is not won in a particular Irish Lotto draw, it will continue to roll over, up to a maximum of €18.9 million, until someone wins.
