A friendly Mr Smith was getting ready for a trip that would take him out of state and was about to leave when he jokingly told his wife that he would call her when he won the lottery. She played along with his joke and replied, “Oh right”, and who could blame her? Little did she know that a few days later, her husband would do precisely that! During his trip, Mr. Smith decided he might as well buy a lottery ticket for the joke's sake but would soon be shocked that he’d purchased a winning ticket worth $227,037! True to his word, he would call his wife to tell her the incredible news, but it must have been just that because she refused to believe him, insisting he was going too far with the joke. He would have to send her a picture holding the massive check and return home with the money to prove it.
Australian man asked to recreate a win and ended up winning again
An Australian man was entirely down in his luck when he experienced a heart attack and then had to endure a 15-day coma. A few days after waking up, this gentleman was out for a walk when he came across a lottery retailer and decided to take a chance on one. He would soon be overjoyed as he won a car worth 30,000. When a local news station heard of this fantastic turn of events, they asked the gentleman to recreate what happened on camera during a live broadcast to share the feel-good story. No one was more shocked when this gentleman bought another scratchcard, began scratching it on camera, and amazingly revealed an even bigger win of $250,000. Nobody could believe it as they watched the man nearly break into tears out of disbelief that he’d just won again and live on camera!
A family joke becomes a reality
A family of four decided to play a little game of pretend over the Christmas holidays but never expected their little joke would be a prediction.
