What are the new Mega Millions?
One big change that is catching attention is that from now on, any win will always pay out more than the price of the ticket thanks to the new multiplier effect. What new effect you may ask? -
From now on, every bet you make will be assigned a randomly picked multiplier of either 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X Multiplier. This random multiplier will be applied and go into effect as soon as your bet becomes a winning ticket.
A non-jackpot prize is now at least $10 and can go up to $10 Million which is a massive difference from the previous $2 to $1 million prize system for non-jackpot wins!
What if you only match the Mega Ball?
Thanks to the new multiplier effect, if you match the mega ball, you can win anywhere from $10–$50.
What if you only Match 5 white balls?
